Mary: Her Story is non-linear yet tells a linear story. The book has two components: Current day and remembrance. The commentary scenes are staged in Mary and Jesus’ kitchen as they ready for their day. The remembrance scenes (contain song)are the vivid recollections that were spoken in the commentary scenes weaving in non-linear events from their past that creates an overall impression of how they lived. Act II deviates from the formula of Act I. Act II brings to reality the danger to and fated loss of her son.
