Josephine Doyle has been slaving away serving 'taters and grog to the many pirate patrons of The Drown'd Dutchman tavern since she was a small child. Her world is suddenly turned upside down when she joins the crew of Captain Red Molly Robinson, a cutthroat pirate in search for the infamous treasure of a terrifying sea monster. Along the way, Joe must face murderous mermaids, treacherous ocean storms, and an eldritch sea god, all the while finding her place among the crew and the strength to stand on her own.

CATHERINE DECKARD -- Female, 20s-30s. Bosun. A dark, violent, twisted psychopath. Vocal range – Mezzo/ medium belt
CHARLES RIVEN -- Male, 30s. First mate. As tall and dark as Red Molly's shadow. Vocal range – baritone
RONALD STARK -- Male, 30s. Quartermaster. Painfully uptight and proudly competent. Vocal range – baritone or mezzo
EDWARD FRANCIS -- Male, 30s or older. Carpenter. The resident drunken sailor. Vocal range – baritone/ mezzo
NANCY MOORE -- Female, 30s. Matronly, with a dark secret. Chorus vocals onlyBLACK VINCENT -- Male, 30s-40s. A dashing pirate captain. Vocal range – baritone
CHRISTOPHER BONES -- Male, 30s or older. We only meet what's left of him. Vocal range – bass/ baritoneTIMOTHY BARKER -- Male, 40s or older. A lout and a bully. Chorus vocals only
RANGER -- Either gender, a strong and imposing terror. Chorus vocals only
LEAD MERMAID -- Female, 20s-30s. A hellish beauty. Vocal range – mezzo/ medium to high belt
PIRATE CAPTAIN -- Male, 30s or older. A drunken womanizer. Vocal range – high baritone/ tenor or mezzo
CHORUS -- Various pirates and merpeople.
Additional aspects: Coconut puppets, a puppet for the Leviathan sea god, and a pendant visible from the house.
